Mike has been performing live point of view (POV) stand-up comedy since 2003, and has opened for international stars like Grammy Award-nominated American humorist, writer, comedian, David Sedaris, Filipino-American Comedian Rob Schneider and Filipino-American Comedian Rex Navarrete. 

 

Mike is one of the very few Filipinos, who has performed wholesome stand-up comedy on television, performing in shows like: The Sib Show on JackTV, The Men's Room on Studio 23, Jojo A. All The Way (on RJTV29, Q11, and TV5), ANC's Shop Talk, and has also appeared on Mango Vibe (a Vancouver based TV magazine show). He has also performed at the biggest stages in the Philippines, the Newport Performing Arts Theater (NPAT) at Resorts World Manila, Solaire Grand Ballroom at Solaire Resort and Casino and the NBC Tent in Bonifacio Global City. to over 1,200 people in each venue. His last project is his DVD, "Mike Unson: Mayhem Unleashed."
